Jill Chapman leads Women's Swimming and Diving in 159-82 loss at Oberlin

OBERLIN — Junior Jill Chapman won the 50 free to lead the Ohio Northern women's swimming and diving team in a 159-82 loss at Oberlin on Friday night at Carr Pool.
The Polar Bears fall to 3-3 overall, while the Yeowomen improve to 5-2.
Chapman won the 50 free in :24.55.
She also posted a pair of second place finishes, touching in the 100 free in :55.37 and the 100 breast in 1:11.71.
Ohio Northern also finished second in each of the two relay events.
Junior Emily Uhrin, sophomore Hailee Sautter, junior Kelsey Brebberman and sophomore Sydney Veon were second in the 200 free relay in 1:47.89 to start the meet.
In the final event of the meet, junior Stacie Melody, junior Molly Wheeler, freshman Alyson Rohrer and Uhrin were second in the 200 medley relay in 2:00.33.
The Polar Bears will return to action on Saturday at 1 pm when they host Mount Union in a key Ohio Athletic Conference matchup at the ONU Sports Center Natatorium.
