Anderson, Manko, Ohio Northern Swimming & Diving teams earn Scholar All-America honors

ADA — Ohio Northern sophomore Marc Anderson and freshman Kasey Manko earned Scholar All-America honors from the College Swimming Coaches Association of America for the 2010-11 season.
Both Anderson and Manko earned Honorable Mention Scholar All-America honors, while the ONU men's and women's teams were named Scholar All-America teams.
Anderson is a 3-time Ohio Athletic Conference Champion and 6-time All-OAC honoree.
He won the 100 fly title and was on ONU's winning 200 and 400 medley relay teams at this year's OAC Championships meet.
Manko won the OAC crown in the 200 breast and as part of ONU's 400 medley relay team and is a 3-time All-Conference award winner.
The Polar Bear women's squad finished the 2010-11 year with a 3.21 cumulative GPA, while the men had a 3.19 GPA.
The Ohio Northern men won their seventh consecutive OAC Championships title and the women won the OAC crown for the third straight year and fourth time in the last five seasons in 2010-11 under seventh-year head coach Peggy Ewald.
