Chase Sumner is entering his second season as an assistant wrestling coach at Ohio Northern in 2024-25.

Sumner was an All-American and a three-time NCAA III Championships qualifier at 149 pounds during his standout career at Ohio Northern from 2020-23.

He closed his ONU career with an overall record of 97-16. His 97 wins marks the 10th-most victories in program history and his .858 winning percentage is the sixth-best in school history.

Sumner earned All-America honors with a fifth place finish at the NCAA III Championships as a senior in 2023.

Tha Ada, Ohio, native was also a two-time All-Ohio Athletic Conference honoree.
