NEW CONCORD - The Ohio Northern wrestling team wrapped up the Ohio Athletic Conference portion of its schedule with a 60-0 victory at a short-handed Muskingum team on Tuesday evening.

The Basics

  • Records: Ohio Northern (16-7 Overall, 6-1 OAC), Muskingum (0-15 Overall, 0-6 OAC).
  • Venue: Steele Center – New Concord, Ohio.

ONU Individuals

  • Senior All-American Jacob Reed (Canal Winchester/Lancaster) won by pin at the 141-pound weight class in 58 seconds.
  • Senior Jayden Jones (Ashland) earned a pin at 157 in 2:21.
  • Freshman #13 Myles Johnson (Springboro) earned a pin at 285 in 2:51.

Notables 

  • Muskingum entered the meet with only three healthy wrestlers and forfeited seven of the 10 weight classes.
  • ONU then won the three contested bouts by fall to post the 60-0 victory.
  • Muskingum also hosted Washington & Jefferson (Pa.) on Tuesday night. W&J won that dual 47-4.
