Senior Teagan Hendricks named OAC Wrestler of the Week

ADA — Ohio Northern senior Teagan Hendricks (Jamestown/Greeneview) was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Wrestler of the Week for the week of Jan. 13-19.

This is Hendricks' first time receiving the honor in his career.

The recognition comes after earning his 100th career win as No. 20-ranked wrestling defeated Wilmington, Otterbein and Heidelberg in an OAC Quad Dual on Saturday afternoon. He went 3-0 at 165 with three pins.

Hendricks is now the 19th wrestler in ONU history with 100 career wins. He is now 21-9 on the season and 101-43 in his career.

The Polar Bears (15-6 overall, 5-0 OAC) return to action on Saturday when they host Baldwin Wallace in a 7:30 p.m. dual.
