No. 12 Wrestling sends split-squad to Baldwin Wallace Invitational, finishes 4th of 13 teams

BEREA — No. 12-ranked Ohio Northern sent a split-squad of varsity and reserve wrestlers to the Baldwin Wallace John Summa Invitational on Saturday.
The Polar Bears finished fourth out of 13 teams with 89 team points. No. 5 Baldwin Wallace won the team title with 187 points, Wilkes (Pa.) was second with 143 points and Saint John Fisher (N.Y.) was third with 103.5 points.
The Basics

- The top 8 finishers in each weight class earn placing honors
ONU Individuals
- Eight of the 14 Polar Bears that competed placed in the top-8 of their respected weight classes.
- Sophomore Gabe Hansen (Richwood/North Union) placed second at 141 pounds with a 4-1 record to lead Ohio Northern.
- Freshman Flint Guerra (Lebanon) placed 3rd at 157 with a 5-1 record.
- Sophomore Ajay Locke (Lancaster) and freshman Kael Margraf (McCutchenville/Mohawk) each placed 4th.
- Locke was 4-2 at 197 and Margraff was 5-1 at 165.
- Freshman Anthony Lahoski (Peninsula/Woodridge) was fifth at 165 with a 3-2 record.
- Junior Adam Myers (Springfield/STEM Academy) was 6th at 174 with a 4-1 record and freshman Cole Williams (Cumming, Ga./South Forsyth) was 6th at 197 with a 2-3 record.
- Junior Nick Campbell (Brecksville/Brecksville-Broadview Heights) placed 7th at 174 with a 4-2 record.
