Wrestling moves up to No. 13 final NWCA Tournament poll; Reed, Hardrick, Sumner ranked in top 10 as individuals

ADA — The Ohio Northern wrestling team Moved up five spots to No. 13 nationally in the National Wrestling Coaches Association's sixth and final Tournament Team poll of the 2022-23 season.
The Polar Bears (20-3 overall, 6-1 Ohio Athletic Conference) remained ranked No. 16 in the NWCA Dual Poll for the third consecutive week.
Individually, sophomore All-American Jacob Reed (Lancaster) remains ranked No. 2 at 141 pounds, senior Jordan Hardrick (Dayton/Wayne) jumped three spots at 165 to No. 8 and senior Chase Sumner (Ada) moved up one spot to No. 9 at 149 pounds.
Reed is 36-0 overall on the season, Hardrick is 37-5 and Sumner is 33-3.
The Polar Bears return to action Feb. 25-26 at the NCAA Division III Central Regional Championships at Case Western Reserve.
