Hardrick, DePrest, Reed named Second Team All-OAC in Wrestling

ADA — Three Ohio Northern student/athletes were named Second Team All-Ohio Athletic Conference in Wrestling for 2021-22 in voting conducted by the league's eight head coaches.
Senior Jordan Hardrick (Dayton/Wayne), junior Ben DePrest (Louisville, Ky./Saint Xavier) and freshman Jacob Reed (Canal Winchester/Lancaster) all earned the honor.
Hardrick is a four-year starter at 165 pounds and was also a Second Team All-OAC pick as a sophomore in 2019-20. he is currently ranked No. 15 nationally at 165 with a 30-8 record and was 5-1 in OAC dual meet action.
DePrest was named All-OAC at heavyweight as a sophomore in 2020-21. This season, he is 19-8 overall and went 3-0 in OAC dual meets.
Reed is ranked 11th nationally at 141 pounds and leads the Polar Bears with a 35-3 record, 12 pins and eight major decisions.
The Polar Bears went 13-5 overall in dual meets and was third in the OAC regular season standings with a 4-2 record.
Ohio Northern will return to action Friday and Saturday at the NCAA Division III Central Regional Championships at Adrian, Mich.
