Saturday's Tournament: The Ohio Northern wrestling program continues its 2021-22 campaign on Saturday at the Adrian (Mich.) Duals ... The tournament is slated to begin at 10 a.m. in Merillat Sport and Fitness Center Complex ... The Polar Bears will face Wisconsin-Whitewater at 10 am, #14 Wisconsin-Stevens Point at 11:30 am and #14 Wisconsin-Oshkosh at 2:30 pm ... An ONU "B" team will also compete in three duals ... Ohio Northern is coming off a solid season-opening performance at the Mount Union Invitational last Saturday ... 16 Ohio Northern wrestlers placed in their respective weight classes to lead the Polar Bears to a solid third place finish ... Freshman Jacob Reed led the Polar Bears by winning the 141-pound weight class with a 4-0 record and two falls ... Senior Schuyler Caprella was second at 165 pounds with a 4-1 mark ... Senior Cash Thompson and junior Ben DePrest each finished third at 197 and heavyweight, respectively. Thompson finished with a 3-1 record, while DePrest was 5-1 on the day.

He sports a 341-242-4 career coaching record in dual action, a winning percentage of .584, making him the all-time winningest coach in program history ... Beaschler was inducted into the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Hall of Fame in 2008 and has been named OAC Coach of the Year three times in 1993, 2012, and 2013.
