Transue, Thompson, Hardrick named All-OAC in Wrestling for 2019-20

ADA — Senior Seth Transue (Plain City/Jerome), junior Cash Thompson (Lake Odessa, Mich./Lakewood) and sophomore Jordan Hardrick (Huber Heights/Wayne) were named All-Ohio Athletic Conference in wrestling for the 2019-20 season in voting conducted by the league's eight head coaches.
Transue earned First Team All-OAC accolades at the 133-pound weight class, where he is currently ranked No. 9 nationally.
Thompson (at 197) and Hardrick (at 165) were each named Second Team All-OAC.
Transue, a two-time time Scholar All-American, went an impressive 6-0 in OAC competition to go with a 32-2 record this season.
He has four pins, six tech falls, and eight major decisions in 2020.
Transue's career record is 92-41. His 92 victories are the 17th-most in ONU history.
Thompson was 4-1 in OAC action. He is 26-7 on the season and is ranked No. 24 nationally.
He posted 14 pins and won five times by major decision in 2020.
Thompson's career record is 81-36. His 81 victories are tied for the 28th-most in school history.
Hardrick was 4-1 within the OAC, going 20-8 on the season. He is ranked No. 20 nationally in his weight class.
He registered a pin, a tech fall, and two major decisions in 2020.
Hardrick's career record is 36-22.
Ohio Northern returns to the mat on Friday and Saturday at the NCAA Division III Central Regionals in Adrian, Mich.
