Saturday's Tournament Notes: The Ohio Northern wrestling program will continue its 2018-19 tournament slate Saturday morning as the Polar Bears head north to nearby NCAA Division II institution Findlay for the Findlay Open ... First round matches are set to begin at 9 a.m. inside the Koehler Fitness and Recreation Complex ... The tournament field is expected to include several ranked NCAA Division II programs and individual redshirted student-athletes from NCAA Division I programs ... Team scores will not be kept at this weekend's double-elimination individual tournament ... ONU raised the curtain on their 2018-19 dual slate Tuesday evening with a 27-15 loss to league foe Otterbein in their OAC opener ... Senior Clayton Davidson and junior Jeff Andrews recorded pins at 174 and 149, respectively, to lead the Polar Bear efforts ... Meanwhile, senior Dylan Dolph picked up the remaining ONU victory, capturing an 8-1 decision in the 157-pound weight class ... Through two events this season, Andrews and sophomore Austin Keeley lead the Polar Bears with five wins while three other grapplers have tallied four victories each ... With Davidson's pin Tuesday, he ties sophomore Rhett Roeder for the team lead with two falls this year.

Head Coach Ron Beaschler: Beaschler is in his 31st season at the helm of the Ohio Northern wrestling program and currently stands as the longest-tenured head wrestling coach at the institution ... He sports a 318-225-4 career coaching record in dual action, a winning percentage of .585, making him the all-time winningest coach in ONU program history ... Beaschler was inducted into the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Hall of Fame in 2008 and has been named OAC Coach of the Year three times in 1993, 2012, and 2013.
