Senior Alex Bair named Ohio Athletic Conference Wrestler of the Week

ADA — Senior Alex Bair (Centerville) has been named the Ohio Athletic Conference Wrestler of the Week for his efforts during the week of Jan. 8-14.

The senior earned the honor for the first time in his career after posting a 4-0 record this week at the Lycoming (Pa.) Duals.

Bair went 4-0 with a pin, tech fall, major decision and decision at the Lycoming (Pa.) Duals. He was named to the All-Tournament Team as the top wrestler at 184 pounds.

The Polar Bears return to action on Tuesday evening as they travel to John Carroll to take on the Blue Streaks at 7:30 pm.
