Junior Kyler Deeter places seventh to lead Wrestling at the Wheaton (Ill.) Invitational

WHEATON, Ill. — Junior Kyler Deeter claimed a seventh place finish to lead the Ohio Northern wrestling team on Day 2 of the Wheaton (Ill.) Pete Willson Invitational on Saturday at King Arena.

Deeter dropped his first match of the day by tech fall, before picking up a win by decision over Dylan Knisley of Millikin (Ill.) to place seventh in the 165-pound weight class.

The junior went 1-1 on the day and finished the Invitational with a 5-2 record. 

The Polar Bears return to action Tuesday as they host John Carroll at 7:30 pm at the ONU Sports Center.
