Senior Cody Lovejoy named to CoSIDA Academic All-America At-Large team for third consecutive year

ADA — Senior Cody Lovejoy was named to the Academic All-America At-Large team in wrestling for 2014-15 by the College Sports Information Directors of America.
This marks the third consecutive season that Lovejoy has been honored as an Academic All-American by CoSIDA.
He was named to the First Team for the second consecutive year and was a Second team Academic All-American as a sophomore in 2013.
Lovejoy is also an All-American, an Academic All-American, a two-time Academic All-District honoree and a three-time NWCA Scholar All-American.
He is a Pharmacy major from Lima, Ohio, and is now on the CoSIDA Academic All-America ballot.
Lovejoy is a four-time All-OAC honoree and has competed in the NCAA III Championships in 2013, 2014 and 2015.
He is a two-time winner of the prestigious Elite 89 award as the student-athlete with the highest GPA of all NCAA III Championships competitors.
Lovejoy was ranked No. 1 nationally, went 43-2 at Heavyweight and led the nation with 27 pins this season.
He finished his career ranked second all-time at ONU with a 144-37 record and 84 pins.
The Polar Bears were 15-5 overall, finished third in the OAC with a 3-2 record under 27th-year head coach Ron Beaschler.
