Mick Letcher named OAC Wrestler of the Week

ADA — For the fourth straight week, an Ohio Northern wrestler has been named Ohio Athletic Conference Wrestler of the Week.

This time it is senior Mick Letcher's turn, as he earned the award for the week of Dec. 12-18.

In ONU's 27-19 win over Division I opponent Davidson (N.C.) on Sunday, Letcher posted his first win at 157 with a pin of the Wildcats' William Ray in 1:26.

Letcher has been wrestling at 165 this season, in which he's 6-2 overall including three pins.

Northern (4-3 overall) is back on the mat Dec. 29-30 at the Citrus Open in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
