Burden leads comeback as Women's Lacrosse rallied for 7-6 victory at Albion (Mich.)

ALBION, Mich. — Senior Keaghan Burden (Brunswick) scored a second half hat trick to lead the Ohio Northern women's lacrosse team from a 5-0 deficit to 7-6 comeback victory at Albion (Mich.) on Wednesday night.

The Game
- Junior Emma Hoersten (Hilliard/Davidson) scored with 4:23 left in the game off an assist from Burden to break a 6-6 tie and complete ONU's comeback.
- The Polar Bears trailed 5-0 at halftime.
- Junior Elena Martin (Canfield) would get the Polar Bears on the scoreboard with back-to-back goals in the third period to cut it to a three-point deficit at 5-2.
- Junior Mackenzie Miller (Maumee/Anthony Wayne) would cut the lead to two with a goal at 6:52 to make it 5-3.
- Ohio Northern's defense held the Britons scoreless in the third period.
- Burden then scored three straight goals for ONU to tie the score at 6-6 with 6:02 left in the fourth.
