Keaghan Burden and Kara Fox named OAC Women's Lacrosse Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week

ADA — Ohio Northern senior Keaghan Burden (Brunswick) and freshman Kara Fox (Euclid/Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin) were named the Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Lacrosse Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week for the week of March 9-16.
The recognition for Burden came after having two goals and three assists in a 18-6 win over Guilford (N.C.) on Tuesday and earning her 10th career hat trick with three goals and six assists in a 19-0 win over Randolph (Va.) on Wednesday.
This season, Burden leads the team with 40 points on 18 goals and 22 assists.
In her career, Burden is first all-time in ONU history with 196 points, first all-time with 114 assists, and tied for sixth all-time with 82 goals.
The recognition for Fox comes after having three saves in two wins last week, including a shutout against Randolph (Va.). Fox is now 4-1 on the season.
This is both Burden and Fox's first time receiving the honor.
The Polar Bears (5-2 overall) return to action on Wednesday at Albion (Mich.) at 7:30 p.m.
