PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. — Senior Meredith Miller (Noblesville, Ind./Noblesville) and freshman Emma Hoersten (Hilliard/Davidson) each scored two goals to lead the Ohio Northern women's lacrosse team in a 25-7 loss to Framingham State (Mass.) on Tuesday afternoon at the Publix Sports Park.
The Polar Bears fall to 4-2, while the Rams improve to 3-2.
This was the first of two games for the Polar Bears on their annual spring break trip.
FSU took control of the game from the onset, leading 7-1 after the first quarter and 12-2 at halftime.
Sophomore Keaghan Burden (Brunswick) led the team with three points on one goal and two assists.
The Rams out-shot ONU 38-19, had a 20-14 advantage in ground balls and a 20-13 advantage in draw controls.
Next up for Ohio Northern is Fredonia State (N.Y.) at 5 p.m. on Thursday.
