ADA — Ohio Northern freshman Rylie Kocik (Cicero, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week for the week of March 6-12.
This marks the second straight week that Kocik has earned the accolade.
The recognition comes after she tallied seven points on six goals and one assist as the Polar Bears went 1-1 during the week.
In a 13-6 win over Adrian (Mich.), Kocik recorded three goals and one assist, and she added three more goals in a 19-8 loss to Ohio Wesleyan.
Kocik has scored at least three goals in all five of ONU's games this season and has 21 total goals, which ranks second in the OAC.
The Polar Bears (4-1 overall) return to action on Tuesday against Framingham State (Mass.) at 2 p.m. in Panama City Beach, Fla.
