ADRIAN, Mich. — The Ohio Northern women's lacrosse team evened its record at 1-1 with an 18-7 victory at Adrian (Mich.) on Wednesday night at Docking Stadium.
The Polar Bears (1-1 overall) got four goals each from sophomore Sydney Kilgore (Pleasant Plain/Little Miami) and Elizabeth Graham (Riverside/Carroll) to post the victory.
A Northern led 7-5 at halftime, then outscored the Bulldogs (0-1) 6-1 in the third quarter to take a commanding 13-6 lead.
Sophomore Molly Dixson (Cannonsburg, Pa./Canon-McMillan) had six saves in goal to pick up the win.
Freshman Keaghan Murphy (Brunswick) had a team-best seven points with two goals and five assists.
AC (1-0) was led by Carlee Casteel with four goals.
Ohio Northern outshot Adrian 32-18.
The Polar Bears will finish their season-opening three-game road trip on Saturday at Franciscan.
