Emily Boerger named assistant Women's Lacrosse coach

ADA — Emily Boerger has been named an assistant women's lacrosse coach at Ohio Northern University.

Boerger comes to ONU after serving as an assistant coach for the Swiss National Team in 2021.

She also has coaching stints at Central Michigan in 2020, at Merrimack in 2017-19, at Findlay in 2016 and at Ohio State in 2014 and 2015.

Boerger graduated from Urbana with a bachelor's degree in exercise science in 2013.

She was named All-America by USAcollegelacrosse.com in 2011 and earned All-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference in 2013.

A Marysville, Ohio, native, Boerger set the UU school record for goals and points in a season.
