NEW CONCORD — Sophomore Meredith Miller (Noblesville, Ind.) and freshmen Noel Orioli (Westerville/North) and Emma Perry (Pickerington/North) all had career days as the Ohio Northern women's lacrosse team won 23-4 at Muskingum on Saturday afternoon at the North Turf Athletic Field.
The Polar Bears improve to 6-9 overall and are 6-9 in the Ohio Athletic Conference, while the Muskies fall to 1-10, 1-10.
Miller scored a career-high five goals, Orioli set a new career standard with four goals, three assists and seven points and Perry scored a career-high four points to lead ONU.
Northern scored 15 consecutive goals and led 20-2 with 10:53 left in the game.
ONU out-shot MU 38-14.
The Polar Bears will wrap up their regular season on Wednesday with a 7 pm home contest with Baldwin Wallace.
