HIRAM — Seniors Ann McArn (Bay Village/Western Reserve Academy) and Hailey Green (South Lyon, Mich.) each had career-highs in goals to lead the Ohio Northern women's lacrosse team to an 18-3 victory at Hiram on Saturday afternoon at Henry Field.
The Polar Bears (2-0 overall) got six goals from McArn and three goals from Green as the host Terriers fall to 0-1.
Northern also got two goals and two assists from junior Sydney Skelding (North Plainfield, N.J./Dublin) and freshman Kiersten Schultz (Bethel Park, Pa.)
ONU scored the game's first five goals and led 9-1 at halftime.
Skelding, Green, McArn and Schultz all scored in the first seven minutes of the second half to stretch the lead to 13-1 and put the game away.
Senior Kelli Hill (Worthington) had one save in goal to record the victory and improve to 3-0.
ONU out-shot HC 33-11.
The Polar Bears will return to action Wednesday night when they host Trine (Ind.) in a 7 pm contest at Dial-Roberson Stadium.
