Women's Lacrosse picked to finish fifth in OAC Preseason Coaches' Poll

ADA — The Ohio Northern women's lacrosse team has been picked to finish fifth in the Ohio Athletic Conference Preseason Coaches Poll in voting conducted by the league's 10 head coaches.
The Polar Bears received 31 points in the voting.
Mount Union was picked to win the title with 64 points and eight first place votes, Capital was picked second with 61 points and one first place vote and Baldwin Wallace was picked third with 48 points.
The Polar Bears return seven starters, three All-Conference honorees and 12 letterwinners from last year's squad that went 7-9 overall and finished sixth in the OAC with a 3-5 league record.
Northern will open its 2020 campaign under fifth-year head coach Beth Hemminger on Feb. 19 with a home game against Kalamazoo (Mich.) at 7 p.m. at Dial-Roberson Stadium.
