Women's Lacrosse picked to finish 6th in OAC preseason coaches poll

ADA — The Ohio Northern women's lacrosse team was picked to finish sixth in the Ohio Athletic Conference Preseason Poll, voted on by the conference's nine head coaches.
The Polar Bears received 24 points in the poll.
Mount Union was picked to finish first in the poll with 62 points and seven first place votes, Capital was picked to finish second with 53 points and the other two first place votes, and Baldwin Wallace was selected to finish third with 52 points.
The Polar Bears feature 16 letterwinners and 11 starters in 2019 after finishing last yseason 6-10 overall and 3-5 in the OAC.
Northern will open its season on Feb. 27 at home against Hiram at Dial-Roberson Stadium under fourth-year head coach Beth Hemminger.
