ADA -- The Ohio Northern women's lacrosse team wrapped up its 2018 season and celebrated Senior Day on Saturday against Capital at Dial-Roberson Stadium.
The Polar Bears end their campaign with a 6-10 overall record and finish sixth in the Ohio Athletic Conference after the 23-2 loss to the Crusaders (13-2, 6-2).
Sophomores Ann McArn (Bay Village/Western Reserve Academy) and Betsy Naugle (Moon Township, Pa./Moon Area) each scored goals for ONU.
ONU honored its two seniors, Chelsea Cousins (Lewis Center/Olentangy) and Shannen Larsen Van Alstine (Neenah, Wis.) in a pregame ceremony.
Capital took control from the onset, scoring the first seven goals before Naugle found the net with 8:41 gone in the contest.
McArn's goal with 11:15 left in the half made it 11-2, but CU would close out the game from there.
CU out-shot ONU 37-10.
