UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS — The Ohio Northern women's lacrosse team dropped a 26-2 decision at John Carroll on Saturday afternoon at Don Shula Stadium.
The Polar Bears fall to 6-8 overall and are 3-3 in Ohio Athletic Conference play, while the Blue Streaks improve to 12-2, 5-1.
JCU controlled play from the onset, scoring the game's first nine goals in the first ten minutes.
Senior Chelsea Cousins (Lewis Center/Olentangy) and sophomore Maggie Fuller (Naples, Fla.) scored goals for ONU.
John Carroll out-shot Ohio Northern 39-5 and won the ground ball battle 21-12.
The Polar Bears will return to action on Wednesday with a 4:30 pm contest at Otterbein.
