ALLIANCE — The Ohio Northern women's lacrosse team opened the Ohio Athletic Conference portion of its schedule with a 25-2 loss at Mount Union on Saturday afternoon at Mount Union Stadium.
The Polar Bears fall to 3-5 overall and are 0-1 in OAC play, while the Purple Raiders improve to 9-0, 2-0.
Sophomore Jacqui Lohman (Liberty Township/Lakota East) scored both of ONU's goals and added three ground balls.
Her first goal came at the 22:11 mark of the first half and her second came with 9:00 left in the game.
MtU out-shot ONU 41-13.
The Polar Bears will return to action on Wednesday evening with a 7 pm game against Wilmington at Dial-Roberson Stadium.
