PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. — The Ohio Northern women's lacrosse team fell 18-0 to Kean (N.J.) Tuesday evening at the Spring Fling Tournament in Port Charlotte, Fla.
The Polar Bears fall to 1-2, while the Cougars improve to 3-0.
Freshman Betsy Naugle (Moon Township, Pa./Moon Area) led Northern offensively with two shots, both of which were on goal.
Defensively, freshman Hailey Green (South Lyon, Mich.) caused one turnover to lead ONU.
Kean held a 9-0 lead heading into the intermission before outscoring Northern 9-0 in the second half to complete the victory.
Northern won eight draw controls and forced six Kean turnovers.
ONU will wrap up the Spring Fling Tournament with a matchup with Marymount (Va.) on Thursday at 10 am.
