Ohio Northern's Chad Bucci named OAC Women's Golf Coach of the Year

ADA — Ohio Northern head coach Chad Bucci was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Golf Coach of the Year for 2024 in voting conducted by the league's nine head coaches on Tuesday.
Bucci guided the Polar Bears to a record-breaking season, which included a 5-shot victory at the OAC Championships.
Northern won eight of the 11 tournaments thus far this season, en route to a 72-35 overall record.
Bucci is the only coach in OAC history to to lead two different schools to the league title, as he guided Otterbein to the 2013 OAC crown.
This marks Bucci's third OAC Coach of the Year accolade, as he won it in 2021 and 2013.
Bucci is 444-283-2 in his 11th season at the helm of the ONU women's golf team, a winning percentage of .610.
The Polar Bears are currently in the first round of the NCAA Division III Championships on Tuesday at the Keene Trace Golf Club in Nicholasville, Ky.
