MIRAMAR BEACH, Fla. — The Ohio Northern women's golf team is 19th of 24 teams after two rounds of the three-day Golfweek NCAA Division III October Classic. The tournament is the premier tournament in Division III this fall, as 21 of the 24 teams are either ranked or receiving votes in the Women's Golf Coaches Association national poll.

  • Honigford is currently tied for 15th place out of 119 golfers individually.
  • Sophomore Marisa Alfes (Bellbrook) is tied for 26th with a 76-77—153.
  • Junior Amelia Burger (Centerville) is tied for 35th with a 76-79—155.
  • Senior Torrie Smith (Kokomo, Ind./Western) is 116th with an 89-87—176.
  • ONU head coach Chad Bucci is 414-254-2 in his 11th season at the helm of the ONU women's golf team.
