Senior Annika Neumann named OAC Women's Golfer of the Week

ADA — Senior Annika Neumann (Valley City/Avon) was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Golf Player of the Week for the week of March 16-22.

She won Medalist honors with a 78 to lead Ohio Northern to a victory at the Pioneer Classic 2 at River Greens Golf Course in West Lafayette.

Neumann began the week with a third place finish with an 81 at the Pioneer Classic in Beverly, helping ONU finish second of four teams.

She averaged 79.5 strokes per round in her two matches last week.

The Polar Bears will return to action with three rounds this weekend, playing at the Capital Invitational Saturday and Sunday and at the Muskingum Invitational on Monday.
