OSTRANDER — The Ohio Northern women's golf team finished fourth out of 11 teams at the Ohio Wesleyan Laura Bump Invitational Saturday and Sunday at Mill Creek Golf Course.

The Polar Bears (24-14 overall) carded a 349 on Sunday's second round to jump past league-rival Otterbein and into fourth place with a 704.

Wittenberg won the team title with a 627, Madonna was second with a 659, Wooster was third with a 676 and Otterbein finished fifth with a 706.

Senior Raven Venegas (Lima/Shawnee) led Ohio Northern with an 11th place finish in the 80-women field, carding a 78-88—166 on the par-72, 5834-yard course.

Freshman Lydia Cranmer (Farmington Hills, Mich./Ladywood) followed her first round 92 with a second round 83 to finish tied for 25th with a 175.

Junior Caitlin Silva (Hilliard/Bradley) finished 34th with an 89-89—178, junior Suzanne Short (Findlay) tied for 49th with a 99-89—188 and sophomore Taylor Daniel (Columbia City, Ind.) tied for 61st with a 96-106—202.

Wittenberg's Jane Hopkins-Wood won Medalist honors with a 68-73—141.
