Freshman Lydia Cranmer named OAC Women's Golfer of the Week

ADA — Ohio Northern freshman Lydia Cranmer (Farmington Hills, Mich.Ladywood) has been named the Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Golfer of the Week for the week of Sept. 1-4.

Cranmer led the Polar Bears (2-0) to a victory in the season-opening ONU Fall Classic on Saturday and Sunday at Colonial Golfers Club.

She fired an 82-84—166 to win the individual title by five strokes on the par-72, 5909-yard course.

The Polar Bears will return to action Friday-Saturday at the Ohio Wesleyan Fall Invitational.
