Women's Golf in first place after Day 1 of ONU Classic

ADA -- The Ohio Northern women's golf team sits in first place after the first day of the ONU Classic, hosted at the Colonial Golfers Club on Saturday afternoon.
Northern carded a 335 to take the lead after the first day of competition.
Junior Suzanne Short (Findlay) led the way for the Polar Bears and fired the low round of the day as she carded a 7-over par 79, which tied her career low round.
Freshman Lydia Cranmer (Farmington Hills, Mich./Ladywood) had a solid collegiate debut as she fired an 82 and currently sits in second place.
The second and final round of the ONU Classic will be Sunday morning at 9 am the the Colonial Golf Club.
