Megan Conley leads Women's Golf to fourth place finish at OAC Championships

TIFFIN — Sophomore Megan Conley finished eighth out of 33 golfers to lead Ohio Northern to a fourth place finish at the 2013 Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Golf Championships at Mohawk Golf Club on Saturday and Sunday.
The Polar Bears finish their season with an 18-26 overall record.
Northern shot an 400-402—802 on par-73, 5856-yard course to finish fourth out of seven teams.
Conley fired the low round of the day, carding an 84 on the wet and rainy course to move from 14th place to eighth overall and finished with a 94-84—178.
Sophomore Allison Fye was 13th with a 90-99—189, freshman Courtney Knippen was 17th with a 102-96—198 and junior Alyssa Mason was 31st with a 121-123—244 in her first collegiate tournament.
Otterbein won the team title with a 339-347—686, Mount Union was second with a 365-374—739, Capital was third with a 375-367—742 and Heidelberg was fifth with a 410-417—827.
Otterbein's Natalie Perry won Medalist honors with a 79-87—166.
The All-Conference teams are voted on by the league's eight head coaches and will be announced at a later date.
