Sophomore Allison Fye leads Women's Golf at Ohio Wesleyan Laura Bump Invitational

OSTRANDER — Sophomore Allison Fye led the Ohio Northern women's golf team at the 2013 Ohio Wesleyan Laura Bump Invitational Saturday and Sunday at Mill Creek Golf Club.
Fye carded an 87-89—176 on the par 72, 5834-yard course to finish tied for 32nd out of 75 golfers.
Sophomore Megan Conley shot a 94-85—179 to finish 35th and freshman Courtney Knippen was 52nd with a 91-99—190 for ONU.
The Polar Bears (15-23 overall) did not score as a team.
Baldwin Wallace won the team title with a 654, otterbein was second with a 658 and Madonna (Mich.) was third with a 664.
Denison's Brynn Fitzgerald won Medalist honors in a playoff with Madonna's Michelle Hall as both players shot 11-over par 155s.
The Polar Bears will return to action Friday and Saturday when they host the annual ONU Invitational at Colonoal Golfers Club.
