Women's Golf in fourth place after Day 1 of OAC Championships

LOCKBOURNE -- The Ohio Northern women's golf team is in fourth place after Day 1 of the 2012 Ohio Athletic Conference Championships Saturday at Firefox Players Club.
The teams played 18 holes on Saturday and will wrap the tournament with 18 more holes on Sunday.
The Polar Bears (24-50 overall) are in fourth place out of eight teams with 407 strokes.
Baldwin-Wallace leads the team standings with a 345, Otterbein is second with a 358, Mount Union is third with a 359 and Capital is in fifth with a 412.
ONU senior Emily Gedert is in eighth place with a 90 on the par-72, 5832-yard course.
Freshman Megan Conley it in 17th place out of 35 golfers with a 97, freshman Allison Fye is tied for 20th with a 103, senior Kim McGowan is in 32nd with a 117 and freshman Kaitlyn Nestel is 34th with a 128 for Ohio Northern.
Emilee Woolf of B-W is in first place with an 80.
