Women's Bowling breaks 5-game team record, finishes 15th at Wright State Raider Classic

BEAVERCREEK — The Ohio Northern women's bowling team rolled a school record 5-game set and finished 15th of 17 teams at the Wright State Roto Grip Raider Classic on Saturday and Sunday.

The Basics

• Ohio Northern finished 15th of 17 teams with 6,353 pins.
• Venue: BeaverVu Lanes - Beavercreek, Ohio.
• The team rolled 5 regular games on Saturday and set a school record with a 3,869-pin effort.
• The Polar Bears averaged 154.4 pins per game.
• On Sunday, Northern rolled a 2,484 (155 ave) for 16 baker games.

ONU Individuals

• Junior Cindy Durliat (Findlay/Liberty Benton) led the Polar Bears with a 839 (169 ave), which was good for 52nd place.
• Freshman Olivia Nastasi (Howard/East Knox) was right behind with a 814 (163 ave) to put her in 55th place.
• Freshman Cait Rogers (Pickerington/North) rolled a 793 (158 ave) to finish 58th. 

Notables

• Cumberland (Tenn.) won the team title with 7.945 pins.
• Marian (Ind.) was second with 7811, Northwestern Ohio was third with 7790 and Huntington (Ind.) was fourth with 7720.
• This was the sixth of 10 events for Ohio Northern in its second season.
• Second-year head coach Jeff Robinson leads the Polar Bears.
