Women's Bowling opens 2024-25 campaign with 13th place finish at Dirty Bird Classic

JACKSON, Mich. — The Ohio Northern women's bowling team opened up its second varsity season on Saturday with a 13th place finish at the Dirty Bird Classic.
The Basics
- Ohio Northern finished 13th of 14 teams with 3,518 pins.
- Venue: Jax 60 - Jackson, Mich.
- The tournament consisted of three regular games and 10 baker games.
The Tournament
- Junior Cindy Durliat (Findlay/Liberty Benton) led the Polar Bears with a 556 series, finishing sixth of 121 bowlers.
- Freshman Kayleigh Zedlitz (Belle Center/Indian Lake) was 60th with a 439.
- Freshman Olivia Nastasi (Howard/East Knox) was 66th with a 408.
- Sophomore Emily Seckel (Marion/Pleasant) was 69th with 390 pins.
Notables
- This was the first of 10 events for Ohio Northern in its second season.
- Second-year head coach Jeff Robinson leads the Polar Bears.
