Women's Bowling places 17th at Keystone Quaker Classic

ALLENTOWN, Pa. — The Ohio Northern women's bowling team closed out the two-day Roto Grip Keystone Quaker Classic in 17th place on Thursday.
The Basics
- Ohio Northern finished 17th of 17 teams with 5,963 pins.
- Venue: Haja Rose Bowl — Allentown, Pa.
The Tournament
- Pikeville won the team title with with 8,280 pins.
- The Polar Bears were in 17th place with 3,317 pins after Day 1 of the competition, which consisted of five team games. They recorded a pinfall of 2,646 on Day 2, which consisted of 20 Baker games.
- Individually, freshman Emily Seckel (Marion/Pleasant) led the Polar Bears on Day 1 with 839 pins through five games. She posted a high game of 188 with an average game of 167.8.
- Freshman Lizzy Frank (Rayland/Buckeye Local) scored 633 pins through five games. She posted a high game of 145 and averaged 126.6.
Notables
- This was the fourth of four days for the Polar Bears competing in two events in Pennsylvania.
- The Polar Bears placed 18th of 18 teams at the two-day Lehigh Valley Collegiate Classic at Jordan Lanes in Whitehall, Pa., on Monday and Tuesday.
- First-year head coach Jeff Robinson leads the Polar Bears.
