Women's Bowling closes out Lehigh Valley Collegiate Classic in 18th place

WHITEHALL, Pa. — The Ohio Northern women's bowling team closed out the two-day Lehigh Valley Collegiate Classic in 18th place on Tuesday.
The Basics
- Ohio Northern finished 18th of 18 teams with 5,885 pins.
- Venue: Jordan Lanes — Whitehall, Pa.
The Tournament
- Trine (Ind.) won the team title with 8,655 pins.
- The Polar Bears were in 18th place with 3,368 pins after Day 1 of the competition, which consisted of five team games. They recorded a pinfall of 2,517 on Day 2, which consisted of 20 Baker games.
- Individually, freshman Emily Seckel (Marion/Pleasant) led the Polar Bears on Day 1 with 752 pins through five games. She posted a high game of 174 with an average game of 150.4.
- Freshman Lizzy Frank (Rayland/Buckeye Local) recorded a pinfall of 716 through five games on Day 1. She posted a high game of 170 and averaged 143.2.
- Freshmen Jaylynn Brownlee (Powell/Olentangy) recorded a high game of 203 on Day 1.

- This was the second of four days for the Polar Bears competing in two events in Pennsylvania.
- First-year head coach Jeff Robinson leads the Polar Bears.
