Women's Bowling finishes 15th of 18 at Ohio Bowling Conference Meet III

COLUMBUS — The Ohio Northern women's bowling team finished 15th of 18 teams at the Ohio Bowling Conference III tournament at Palace Lanes on Saturday.
The Basics
- Ohio Northern finished 15th of 18 teams with 5,094 pins in five rounds of regular games and 12 baker games during the day.
- Venue: Columbus Square Palace Lanes — Columbus, Ohio

The Tournament
- ONU defeated Ursuline (5091), Baldwin Wallace (4793) and Cincinnati (2331).
- Sophomore Cindy Durliat (Findlay/Liberty Benton) led the team with a 689 series.
- Freshman Jaylynn Brownlee (Powell/Olentangy) followed with a 664 series.
- Ohio Northern was 16th after the five singles games with a 3334, which included a high game of 713.
- In the 12 baker games, Northern was 10th with a 1760. The top game was an 186 in game eight.
Notables
- This was the third of five Ohio Bowling Conference tournaments this season.
- First-year head coach Jeff Robinson leads the Polar Bears.
