Kadie Hempfling is in her first season as an assistant women's basketball coach at Ohio Northern in 2024-25.

Hempfling comes to ONU after receiving her master's degree in business administration from Bowling Green State in 2023.

She enjoyed standout 5-year career at Bowling Green, serving as team captain in each of her final three seasons.

Hempfling was a two time Third Team All-MAC selection and was a four-time Academic All-MAC honoree.

A native of Ottawa, Ohio, Hempfling ended her career as the school's all-time leader in games played with 155.

She scored 1,281 career points, grabbed 809 career rebounds and dished out 432 career assists. 

Hempfling earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from BGSU in 2021.

She has spent the last eight months as a personal basketball trainer for youth in northwest Ohio.
