Brooke Allen scores 18 as Women's Basketball wins 66-41 over Mount Union

ADA — Senior Brooke Allen (Woodville/Woodmore) scored a game-high 18 points to lead the Ohio Northern women's basketball team to a 66-41 win over Mount Union on Saturday afternoon.

- Sophomore Courtney Sumner (Ada) had 14 points.
- Junior Mackenzie Suprano (Cutler/Waterford) was one rebound shy her second consecutive double-double with 10 points and a team-high nine rebounds to go with two steals.
- Senior Abby Dickson (Germantown/Valley View) added eight points.
- Elizabeth Mason led Mount Union with seven points.
- Northern jumped out to a quick 5-0 lead and led 14-13 after the first quarter.
- ONU went on a 12-0 run in the second quarter to go up 31-17 with 3:30 left in the half.
- The Polar Bears led 33-21 at halftime.
- Northern started the third quarter with an 8-0 run to extend its lead to 41-21.
- ONU led 52-33 after three quarters.
- Ohio Northern made 23-of-58 field goals for 39.7 percent and was 7-of-26 from beyond the arc for 26.9 percent, while Mount Union was 18-of-57 from the floor for 31.6 percent and finished 2-of-18 on 3-pointers for 26.9 percent.
- The Polar Bears made 13-of-15 free throws for 86.7 percent and the Raiders were 3-of-5 from the line for 60.0 percent.
