Women's Basketball falls 51-44 to No. 18 Baldwin Wallace to start OAC play

ADA — The Ohio Northern women's basketball team fell 51-44 to No. 18-ranked Baldwin Wallace on Wednesday evening to kick off Ohio Athletic Conference play.

- Junior Mackenzie Suprano (Cutler/Waterford) added six points and a team-high 10 rebounds.
- Baldwin Wallace was led by Alyssa Miller with 12 points.
- Ohio Northern started the game on an 8-0 run, including six points from Luersman.
- The Polar Bears led 17-12 at halftime.
- Baldwin Wallace cut the lead to one at the end of the third quarter with the score 35-34.
- BWU outscored ONU 17-9 in the fourth quarter and made 5-of-6 free throws in the last 10 seconds to put the game away.
- Ohio Northern made 17-of-55 field goals for 30.9 percent and was 0-of-14 from beyond the arc while Baldwin Wallace was 14-of-48 from the floor for 29.2 percent and finished 7-of-24 on 3-pointers for 29.2 percent.
