Sophomore Chloe Glenn notches first career double-double, but Women's Basketball falls to No. 20 Ohio Wesleyan 65-52

ADA — Sophomore Chloee Glenn (Glandorf/Ottawa-Glandorf) registered her first career double-double, but the Ohio Northern women's basketball team fell 65-52 to No. 20-ranked Ohio Wesleyan on Tuesday afternoon.

• Glenn scored a season-high 14 points and grabbed a career-high 11 rebounds to lead ONU.
• Senior Abi Akamine (Lahaina, Hawaii/Lahainaluna) added nine points.
• Ohio Wesleyan was led by All-American Kasey Schipfer with 22 points.
• OWU jumped to an 8-1 lead, but ONU managed to close to 27-25 with 2:31 left in the half.
• The Battling Bishops led 34-28 at halftime.
• A 12-4 run gave the visitors a 48-34 lead.
• ONU battled back to within 57-48 with 2:44 to play, but OWU made six free throws in the final 1:36 to hang on for the win.
• Ohio Northern made 18-of-53 field goals for 34.0 percent and was 6-of-25 from beyond the arc for 24.0 percent while Ohio Wesleyan was 26-of-59 from the floor for 44.1 percent and finished 3-of-14 on 3-pointers for 21.4 percent.
• The Polar Bears made 10-of-16 free throws for 62.5 percent and the Battling Bishops were 10-of-17 from the line for 58.8 percent.
