Women's Basketball team falls 84-62 to Marietta

MARIETTA — Fifth-year senior All-American Brynn Serbin (Pittsburgh, Pa./North Allegheny) led the Ohio Northern women's basketball team with 15 points as the Polar Bears fell 84-62 at Marietta on Saturday afternoon.

- Serbin also put up five rebounds and six assists to go with her 15 points.
- Freshman Chloee Glenn (Glandorf/Ottawa-Glandorf) put up 11 points, had a team-high eight rebounds and two blocks off the bench.
- Junior Brooke Allen (Woodville/Woodmore) tallied 10 points, four rebounds and two blocks.
- Sophomore Noelle Ruane (St. Marys) posted seven points and three rebounds off the bench.
- Ally Grake led the Pioneers with 18 points.
- Marietta led 27-11 at the end of the 1st quarter, 48-26 at halftime and 71-53 after three quarters.
- The Pioneers finished the game out-scoring the Polar Bears 13-9 in the 4th quarter.
- Ohio Northern made 24-of-74 field goals for 32.4% and was 6-of-28 from beyond the arc for 21.4%, while MC was 30-of-64 from the floor for 46.9% and made 12-of-24 3-pointers for 50%.
- ONU made 8-of-16 free throws for 50%, and MC was 12-of-18 from the line for 66.7%.
- The Polar Bears were out-rebounded by the Pioneers by a 49-41 margin.
