Brooke Allen leads Women's Basketball in a 71-54 victory over Otterbein

ADA — Junior Brooke Allen (Woodville/Woodmore) tallied 16 points and eight rebounds to lead the Ohio Northern women's basketball team to a 71-54 victory over Otterbein in an Ohio Athletic Conference contest on Wednesday night.

- Fifth-year senior All-American Brynn Serbin (Pittsburgh, Pa./North Allegheny) put up 13 points and four rebounds. She led ONU with 4 assists and 6 steals.
- Freshman Chloee Glenn (Glandorf/Ottawa-Glandorf) tallied 6 rebounds, off the bench.
- Sophomore Mackenzie Suprano (Cutler/Waterford) tallied 9 points and 3 rebounds, off the bench.
- Juniors Layla Dials (Willard) and Abby Dickson (Germantown/Valley View) along with freshman Gabi Croft (Spencerville) put up 8 points apeice.
- Kyla Irby and Claire Radabaugh led the Cardinals with 11 points each.
- Ohio Northern made 24-of-60 field goals for 40.0% and was 7-of-17 from beyond the arc for 41.2%, while OU was 21-of-57 from the floor for 36.8% and made 5-of-16 3-pointers for 31.3%.
- ONU made 16-of-25 free throws for 64%, and OU was 7-of-9 from the line for 77.8%.
- The Polar Bears out-rebounded the Cardinals by a 39-38 margin.

- Allen's 16 points makes this her 9th game of the season to score double digits.
- Serbin fell just short of her season-best in steals of seven, which she accomplished in the last head-to-head agsint Otterbein.
- Northern is now 61-36 all-time against Otterbein, including a 35-16 mark in Ada.
- ONU has won the past five meetings with OU.
- Serbin is ONU's all-time leader in career steals with 266 and assists with 347.
- Serbin ranks eighth on ONU's all-time career scoring list with 1,129 points. She ranks fourth all-time with 161 made 3-pointers in her career, is 13th all-time in made free throws with 200, is 14th all-time in rebounds with 523 and 14th all-time with 384 made field goals.
- Serbin is the only women's basketball player in ONU history to tally at least 1,000 points, 500 rebounds, 300 assists and 200 steals in her career.
