Tuesday's Preview: The Polar Bears are the No. 5 seed in this week's Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament and will travel to play No. 4 seed Otterbein on Tuesday at 6 p.m. at the Rike Center … The winner advances to Thursday's semifinals to face the winner of the quarterfinal game between top-seeded and 13th-ranked John Carroll and the winner of Monday night's first-round game between No. 8 seed Wilmington and No. 9 seed Capital … The championship game is scheduled for Saturday … All games are hosted by the better-seeded team … Northern is aiming for its fifth OAC Tournament title … The Polar Bears won the crown in 2017, 2013, 1988 and 1986 … ONU has also been runner-up six times … Northern advanced to the semifinals of last season's tournament before falling 69-38 at 14th-ranked John Carroll … The Polar Bears won 61-44 at Otterbein in the quarterfinals of last season's tournament … ONU fell 65-60 at Otterbein on Feb. 2 in the teams' lone meeting this season …  Senior Jaidyn Hale scored a career-high 22 points to lead ONU in the game … Otterbein and ONU are the least turnover-prone teams in the OAC, committing just 14.3 and 14.8 turnovers per game, respectively, on the season … The Polar Bears are coming off Saturday's 73-56 home win over Muskingum … Senior Alissa Stahler led the way with 19 points and eight rebounds … Other top contributors included junior Brynn Serbin (15 points) and senior Lexi Jacobs (11 points, 5 rebounds) … Northern is averaging 61.9 points per game and allowing an OAC-low 50.6 points per contest … The Polar Bears are shooting 38.4% from the field, 28.8% on 3-pointers and 71.3% from the foul line … Stahler (9.7 points per game) leads ONU in scoring followed by Serbin (8.9), Hale (8.3) and sophomore Kristen Luersman (7.2) … Stahler is tied for ninth in the OAC in rebounding (5.5 per game) and blocks (21) … Serbin leads the OAC in steals (58) and ranks third in the league in assists (72) … Serbin is tied with Jenny Markle ('05-'08) for ninth on ONU's all-time leaderboard in steals (132), and her 157 career assists are 16 shy of cracking the top 20 on the program's all-time leaderboard in that category … Sophomore Kasey Knippen leads the OAC in shooting 43.1% (22-of-51) from 3-point range … Otterbein enters Tuesday's game coming off Saturday's 63-47 home win over Mount Union for its sixth victory in seven games … The Cardinals finished with three double-figure scorers in the game led by 15 points from Kathleen DeCarlo … OU had four double-figures scorers in its victory over ONU earlier this season in an effort led by 14 points apiece from DeCarlo and Angelia Jackson … Otterbein is averaging 64.5 points per game while allowing 58.3 points per contest … The Cardinals are shooting 41.5% from the floor, 26.8% on 3-pointers and 68.8% from the foul line … Katie McCrary (13.4 points per game), Jackson (9.3) and DeCarlo (8.5) lead OU in scoring … McCrary leads the OAC in assists (83), ranks second in steals (52) and is tied for fourth in scoring … Bryn Mangold ranks second in the OAC in blocks (39) … Jackson ranks fourth in the OAC with 46 made 3-pointers and is shooting 33.1% from beyond the arc … DeCarlo ranks seventh in the OAC with 5.8 rebounds per game.

All-Time Series: Ohio Northern leads the all-time series with Otterbein by a 55-36 margin, including a 23-20 mark on the road … ONU is 9-1 all-time against Otterbein in the OAC Tournament … ONU won 61-44 at Otterbein in the quarterfinals of last season's OAC Tournament … The teams last met earlier this season on Feb. 2 when OU came away with a 65-60 home win.
